Welcome to Fort Belvoir Home Educators (FBHE). The FBHE offers homeschool activities and support to military, DOD, and government service families located in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the DC Metro area.
Throughout the year our group offers social, support, and enrichment activities for our member families. We have participating members with children from pre-school thru high school age and we attempt to plan activities that will appeal to all age ranges.
Social activities: holiday parties, play days, and monthly gatherings such as bowling, hiking, or swimming.
Enrichment activities: monthly field trips, co-op (four, six week sessions per year), and special events such as a spelling bee, science fair, international fair, and geography bee.
Support activities: monthly membership meetings, and monthly Mom's / Dad's Coffee.
